Urban Guardian
Reflection
In city streets, a silent watch is kept,
By guardians of stone, with hearts that slept.
A dog of stone, with fur so bright,
Sits on a bench, through day and night.
With collar worn, and eyes so wide,
It watches over, with a gentle pride.
The bench, a canvas, painted blue,
A backdrop for the dog, both new.
Together they sit, in urban space,
A symbol of companionship, in a busy place.
The dog's stone fur, with patterns bright,
A mosaic of art, in morning light.
As leaves fall down, and day gives way,
The dog remains, in its urban stay.
A steadfast friend, through rain and shine,
A guardian of peace, in a world divine.
