Caged Liberty
Reflection
In iron bars, a spirit confined,
A fiery soul, with eyes divine.
The rusty cage, a story tells,
Of freedom lost, and secret spells.
The cat's gaze, a window to the mind,
A longing for the wild, left behind.
The whiskers twitch, the ears perk high,
As dreams of freedom dance, and pass by.
In captivity, a heart beats strong,
A yearning for the wild, where love belongs.
The cage may hold, but can't contain,
The essence of a spirit, that remains.
Free and wild, in heart and soul,
The cat's true nature, makes it whole.
In the gaze, a message we find,
Of resilience, and a heart left behind.
A call to freedom, a cry to the night,
A reminder of the beauty, in plain sight.
