Rainy Requiem
Reflection
In the silent rain, two souls entwine,
Under the umbrella's fragile design,
A moment's peace, a lifetime's sigh,
As rain drums on, and the world goes by.
Their robes, a dark and flowing sea,
Wrap round them, a dark destiny,
The woman's eyes, a gentle gleam,
The man's, a steadfast, loving beam.
Their hands, a tender, secret keep,
A love that's strong, a heart that leaps,
In this gray world, they find their nest,
A refuge from life's stormy unrest.
The rain, a melancholy hue,
Falls soft, a soothing, sorrowful brew,
That wraps around, a mournful sigh,
As they stand there, lost in a loving eye.
