Midnight Muse
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden dwells, with beauty's sway,
Her dark tresses, a crowning might,
Adorned with blooms, in soft, ethereal light.
A blue bird perches, a mystic guest,
Upon her shoulder, softly nest,
Together they breathe, in gentle time,
As petals dance, in a lover's rhyme.
In this serene, and dreamlike state,
The maiden's soul, with peace is great,
The world, it seems, has slowed its pace,
As beauty's essence, fills the space.
The blue bird's song, a gentle breeze,
That rustles leaves, and stirs the trees,
As in this moment, all is right,
In harmony, the heart takes flight.
