Masquerade Sisters
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
Two sisters stand, in masquerade array,
Their faces hidden, yet revealed in part,
By golden masks, and feathers that impart,
A tale of mystery, of secrets untold,
Of whispers shared, in the silence cold.
Their eyes, like lanterns, glowing bright,
Pierce through the veil, of night's dark light,
Their lips, a promise, of a story spun,
Of love, of loss, of dreams yet to be won.
The red and gold, a fiery splendor shine,
As they stand together, in a bond divine,
Their hearts, aflutter, like birds in flight,
As they dance, in the masquerade's delight.
