Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden weaves a roseate way,
Her dress, a river of moonlit stream,
As she dances with the rose's dream.
With hair aflame, like silver bright,
She turns to touch the roses' light,
The red blooms, like passionate hearts,
Beat in rhythm with her gentle starts.
In this serene, yet passionate scene,
We find the beauty, wild and serene,
A moment's peace, a lifetime's sigh,
As the rose's beauty catches her eye.
The world, in monochrome, fades away,
As red roses blaze, like love's own ray,
In this still moment, she is free,
A vision of beauty, for you and me.
