Rose Ascending
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A vision unfolds, in roseate array.
A maiden fair, with tresses bright,
Ascends the stairs, into the fading light.
Her gown, a whisper of silk and lace,
Echoes the beauty of a bygone place.
The roses, red as passion's fire,
Dance around her, with a lover's desire.
In this tableau, where black and white entwine,
The rose's crimson bursts, like a heart's rhyme.
A moment captured, in time's still frame,
Where beauty's essence, is the artist's aim.
The staircase, a pathway to the soul,
Unfolds the mystery, of the heart's dark role.
In this rose-filled reverie, we find our peace,
A reflection of the beauty, we can't release.
