Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden's form, in darkness gray,
With roses woven in her hair,
A poignant beauty, beyond compare.
Her eyes, like sapphires, dark and deep,
Reflect the sorrow she doth keep,
The red roses, like passion's flame,
That burns within her, a heartfelt claim.
The lace upon her bosom fair,
A delicate touch, beyond despair,
The soft, golden light that on her shines,
Illuminates the beauty that entwines.
In this still moment, she is free,
A vision of loveliness, for you and me,
A rose requiem, a mournful sigh,
That echoes through the silent sky.
