Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,
A maiden lies, surrounded by roses' sway,
Red petals unfolding like dark, velvet night,
As moonlight whispers secrets, a gentle, loving light.
Her lips, a crimson rosebud's promise keep,
As she reclines, in slumber, soft and deep,
The roses' sweet fragrance, a lullaby sings,
As the night air whispers, with a gentle, loving ring.
In this nocturnal reverie, she finds her peace,
A midnight serenade, the roses' soft release,
The cathedral's spires, a sentinel of stone,
Stand guard, as the night's mysteries are made known.
The moon above, a glowing orb of white,
Casts an ethereal light, on this, her sacred night,
A moment frozen, in time's relentless flight,
A rose requiem, a love song, in the silent night.
