Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden lies, in roses' array.
Her lips, a crimson kiss of fate,
As petals wrap, an endless state.
The city's spires, a distant hum,
A lullaby, a somber thrum.
The roses' scent, a heavy sigh,
As darkness claims, the evening sky.
Her eyes, closed, in tranquil sleep,
A beauty lies, in roses deep.
In this still scene, a story's told,
Of love, of loss, of hearts grown cold.
The roses, red, a symbol true,
Of passion's fire, that once shone through.
Now, in repose, she finds her peace,
Among the blooms, her soul release.
