Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows softly fall,
A vision of beauty, serene, beckons all.
Amidst the crimson roses, she lies in repose,
Her lips, a fiery whisper, as the petals disclose.
The world, in monochrome, fades to gentle gray,
As red roses surround her, in a lover's array.
Her eyes, closed to the world, in slumber deep,
Dream of secrets, only roses softly keep.
In this chiaroscuro, light and shadow play,
A dance of contrasts, on this gentle day.
The roses, like sentinels of love, stand guard,
As she, in beauty, lies, a moment, unmarred.
In this still life, a story unfolds,
Of passion, beauty, and a love that never grows old.
The roses, red as ardor, and as fleeting too,
Remind us to cherish, the beauty we hold true.
