Rose Serenade
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden lies, in roseate array,
Her visage pale, her lips aflame,
With roses red, that bear her name.
The blooms, like velvet softness, cling
To her fair hair, and gently sing
A lullaby of love and sleep,
As petals softly start to creep.
Her eyes, like moonlit pools, serene,
Reflect the beauty she has seen,
In dreams, where passion's fire is tamed,
And love's sweet whispers are proclaimed.
In this still moment, she is free,
A vision of beauty, for you and me,
To cherish, and to hold in sight,
A fleeting glimpse, of pure delight.
