Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden lies, in roses' sway,
Her lips, a crimson, sensual gleam,
Invite the darkness, a velvet dream.
The flowers, like blood, upon her skin,
A morbid beauty, locked within,
Her eyes, closed to the world's despair,
A refuge found, in love's dark lair.
The roses whisper, a haunting sigh,
As petals fall, like tears, to the sky,
In this still moment, she is free,
A fleeting peace, in mortality.
The red blooms, a passionate, wild fire,
That burns, a love, that never tires,
In every thorn, a story's told,
Of love, loss, and a heart, grown cold.
