Rose Requiem
Reflection
In the depths of crimson, she lies entwined,
A vision of beauty, where petals are aligned.
Her lips, a flush of red, a kiss of desire,
As roses envelop her, in a lover's sweet fire.
Her eyes, closed in ecstasy, or perhaps in pain,
Reflect the shadows, where love and sorrow reign.
The roses, like tears, fall around her face,
A poignant reminder of life's fleeting pace.
In this tableau, she is the rose's queen,
A monarch of beauty, in a realm serene.
The red roses, like passion's flame, surround,
A symbol of love, that in death is found.
In this stillness, she finds her peaceful nest,
A bed of roses, where her heart finds rest.
The world, in all its beauty, fades from sight,
As she becomes one, with the roses' gentle light.
