Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden lies, in roseate array,
Her lips, a crimson, whispered sigh,
As petals dance, and darkness sighs.
Her eyes, closed, in sweet repose,
The roses' beauty, her soul disclose,
In this still moment, she is free,
A fleeting peace, for you and me.
The red roses, like passion's flame,
Illuminate her, in beauty's name,
A moment's peace, in love's dark night,
A rose requiem, a gentle delight.
In this serene, and mystic scene,
We find our own, heart's deepest dream,
A reflection, of love's pure light,
A rose requiem, on this silent night.
