Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden rests, in roseate array,
Red petals softly fall, like tears from above,
As she surrenders to a lover's endless love.
Her skin, a canvas, pale and fair,
A delicate lace, beyond compare,
The roses, like rubies, scattered all around,
As if her heart, in sorrow, is drowned.
In this dark space, where stars appear,
The roses whisper secrets, she holds dear,
A mystic language, only known to the night,
As the roses' beauty, her soul takes flight.
In this still moment, she is free,
A vision of beauty, for you and me,
To cherish, to hold, in memory,
A rose requiem, for eternity.
