Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,
A maiden's form, in monochrome array,
Lies lost in thought, her beauty on display,
With roses red, that in her hair do stay.
Her eyes, closed tight, as if in prayer,
Her lips, a gentle curve, a whispered care,
The roses, like rubies, dark and bright,
Adorn her tresses, in a wondrous sight.
In this still moment, she is free,
A vision of serenity, for you and me,
To bask in the beauty, of this rose-kissed scene,
And let the world's din, fade into the dream.
For in this image, we find a peaceful nest,
A refuge from life's storms, where love finds rest,
And though the roses, may wither and fade,
The memory of this moment, will forever be displayed.
