Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A maiden lies, in roseate array,
Her tresses woven, with crimson delight,
A somber beauty, in the fading light.
Her skin, a canvas, pale and fair,
Inviting roses, to softly share,
The gentle curves, of her peaceful face,
A serene landscape, in a secret place.
The roses, like tears, from heaven's own heart,
Fall softly, a gentle, loving work of art,
Their petals, a whispered promise, sweet and low,
A lullaby, of love, in the silence below.
In this still moment, she finds her peace,
A world of sorrow, in a rose's release,
The thorns, a reminder, of life's sharp pain,
Yet, in their beauty, love remains.
