Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A woman lies, surrounded by roses' sway,
Red petals dance, like whispers in her ear,
As she succumbs to love's sweet, sorrowful lair.
Her lips, a rosebud's promise, soft and bright,
Invite the darkness, with a gentle might,
Her eyes, closed to the world's loud, jarring din,
Drink in the beauty, of the roses within.
The flowers, like tears, fall from above,
A mourning for love, a requiem of love,
In this still moment, she is free to be,
A vessel for the beauty, that's meant to be.
The roses, like a lover's caress, surround,
Her face, a canvas, where emotions are found,
In this serene, and mystic, rose-filled space,
She finds solace, in a peaceful, secret place.
