Rose Requiem
Reflection
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,
Two sisters of the night, in red roses array,
Their faces, pale as moonlight, glowing bright,
Reflect the beauty of a mournful night.
Their lips, a deep crimson, like the roses they wear,
Invite the darkness, with a sensual, sweet air,
Their eyes, like windows, to the soul's dark night,
Shine bright with secrets, and a mysterious light.
The stained glass window, a kaleidoscope of pain,
A reflection of the beauty, and the sorrow they sustain,
Their beauty is a curse, a blessing and a test,
A rose requiem, for the love they have repressed.
In this dark, gothic world, they reign supreme,
Queens of the night, in a realm of dark dream,
Their rose-adorned hair, a crown of thorns, they bear,
A symbol of the love, that they can never share.
