Submerged Elegy
Reflection
In the depths, a vision stirs, a maiden fair and pale,
Her dress flows like a cloud, her hair a golden gale.
Red blooms scatter around her, like tears from above,
As she floats, lost in the water, a melancholy love.
Her eyes, once bright, now dim, like stars in the night,
Reflect the sorrow that haunts her, a heart in plight.
The water's dark veil shrouds her, a mysterious disguise,
Yet, in her beauty, we see, a tragic, ethereal surprise.
In this submerged world, she dances, free and slow,
A ghostly waltz, where petals of red roses flow.
Her presence whispers secrets, of a tale untold,
A story of love, loss, and a heart that's grown cold.
The ripples of her dress, like waves on a summer's day,
Echo the turmoil, that in her soul does sway.
In this still, underwater scene, we see a reflection,
Of the beauty and the pain, that in her heart finds inspection.
