Equestrian Elegy
Reflection
In verdant twilight, where trees whisper secrets to the wind,
Two riders pause, their horses' breath a gentle mist.
The white steed, a vision of serenity, bears its rider
With grace, as if the earth itself had given birth to its majesty.
The chestnut mount, with mane aflame, follows closely behind,
A testament to the bond between horse and rider, a harmony of heart and mind.
The riders, clad in attire of a bygone era, sit tall and proud,
Their faces, a map of contemplation, lost in the beauty of the landscape.
The sky above, a canvas of soft hues, a blend of blue and gold,
A serene backdrop to this moment, frozen in time, a memory to behold.
The forest, a sentinel of ancient wisdom, stands guard,
A witness to the passage of time, as the riders pause, and then depart.
In this moment, we find solace, a respite from the world's din,
A chance to reconnect with nature, and the beauty within.
